Fatherhood is very much alike helping your kid climb a ladder, but this ladder is a huge tall one that goes up into the sky, so tall that you can't see where it ends.
First, you help your little kid to shyly step into the ladder, with his trembling little hands he grabs the ladder with all his strenght, fearing to fall. Then gaining confidence, he starts climbing, knowing that you are holding him, no matter what.
But there is a decisive moment when the kid is climbing so high, that you can not reach him from the floor. Slowly he releases off from you, and climbs higher and higher, until you can not protect him anymore and he is totally on his own.
Fatherhood is two steps, is teaching your own how to climb the ladder and then being wise and strong enough for letting go....

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
